With an exceptional career spanning over 32 years in law enforcement and strategic leadership, Rodney K. Harrison brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to Petrone Risk. As the former Suffolk County Police Commissioner and NYPD Chief of the Department, Harrison has demonstrated remarkable dedication to public safety and effective crisis management. As NYPD Chief of Patrol, Harrison managed operations and policies for high-profile events such as the New Year’s Eve celebrations in Times Square, NYC Marathon, and Thanksgiving Day Parade demonstrating his capacity to handle large-scale public safety logistics. Most recently, he served as the Police Commissioner for the Suffolk County Police Department, where his leadership was pivotal in implementing innovative policing strategies and reviving the investigation of the Gilgo Beach serial killer case. This renewed effort under his guidance ultimately led to the arrest of a suspect, resolving one of the most infamous unsolved cases.
In his new role, Harrison will be responsible for furthering strategic initiatives, driving growth, and enhancing Petrone Risk’s service offerings.
